Something New For Jason Wu

Now some may say that the young designer had nothing left to prove of his self after creating the masterpiece that Michelle Obama wore at the Presidential Inauguration ..



I for one, beg to differ! With the success that came after designing the dress for the First Lady, Wu sought to show a new fan base what he could really do. & this year at the Fall edition of New York Fashion Week, he did just that.

After his harder edged Pre-Fall collection with a color palette of mostly all black, Wu brought things back to a more simple & feminine side. The Fall collection shown at the Mercedez-Benz Fashion Week on Feb 12th featured delicate pieces with touches of masculinity here & there. The cocktail dresses had to be my fav!
