When it comes to whats hot in hair, Rhianna is the leading trendsetter. Hands down! No one else has influenced females to do outrageous things with their hair the way that she has. So when I saw the newest cut and color that Rhianna was seen rocking, I could only shake my head. Don't get me wrong. It's edgy and bold, like everything else Rhianna does with her hair. It's cute, on her. She, can pull it off. Now for every other female, I'm not too sure. I guess we'll see though, huh?

Budding Fashionista

Willow Smith, daughter of Will & Jada Smith, has recently received a lot of harsh criticism about her latest haircut. This isn't the first time she's caught attention for her daring hair styles. Last year the net went crazy when Willow shaved one side of her hair into a style that resembled the one that Cassie & Rhianna have made popular. The 9 year old diva is back at it again! She was recently spotted with a cute little mohawk; both sides shaved low this time. Most people have a lot to say about this since Willow is only nine and all. I most def give her props for being bold enough to take her hair, & fashion as you can see in the pics below, to a totally different level. Most kids her age are all about fitting in, but it's clear to see that Willow is staying true to herself. Gotta love it!

So I don't know where I was or what I was doing, but I didn't know that Chris Brown had released the official video for No Bullsh*t. The song comes from his mixtape In My Zone, but it's also featured on his latest mixtape Fan of a Fan with Tyga. If you haven't heard of and/or don't have those two mixtapes, get them now! Seriously. Fashion Face Off: Tyra Banks vs. Kim Kardashian

Rachel Roy dress and Christian Louboutin pumps. How could one go wrong? In Kim's case, she was dead wrong! For some reason I don't think this was a mere coincidence. Back in August, Mrs.Banks stepped out in the red Rachel Roy dress. She paired the one shoulder piece with chunky bracelets and matching beige pumps and clutch. A couple weeks ago Kim K. wore the same exact dress with heels that looked nearly the same as Tyra's. Kim went jewel-less and simply added a multi-colored clutch. Both ladies look great in the dress, but in my opinion Tyra beats Kim in this face off. I'm not saying this just because Tyra wore the look first. I think the dress fits her figure, height, and skin tone much better. & who do you think wore it best?

Senior Year!

As you can see, senior year has definitely gotten the best of my little blog. I have really been slacking, but I guess it's all for a good cause. Did a lot of running around for Prom, which was 2 weeks ago. I've been accepted to colleges, but I'm still deciding where I want to go. Now I'm just getting ready for finals during the last four days of my high school career. Then the big day is on the 25th, graduation! Sorry for the neglect, things will be back to normal asap. Love you guys!

I've been meaning to put this video up for a couple days now. When I first saw this video I was speechless! I'm not even a huge Ciara fan at all, but this may have just changed that. Maybe I don't give her the credit that she deserves becuase I honestly never thought she was a good dancer at all. I abolutely love this video! What do you think about it?

What Everyone Was Waiting For!

Yep, it's about that time again. The NFL Draft is here! It will be broadcasted live on ESPN, with coverage on nearly every station though. So seeing how the Rams have been pretty horrible in the past years, they're up first to pick. Everyone is expecting them to take Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford, but I'm here to tell you that everyone is St.Louis wants them to trade down. Why? Well like I said, they haven't been that good. So if they trade down they'll lose the best quarterback, but in return they'll come up on alot of other good players. One great player can't do a team as much justice as alot of good players. Well we'll most definitely see how things play out because coverage has started!

I usually just stick to blogs by the people I know, those who follow me, & more well-known ones. Just recently, I've began to actually aimlessly roam the wonderful blogger site. & I've actually been finding some pretty good stuff!

I found this amazing blog by the name of I Wrote This For You. The entire blog consists of what I would call short poetry pieces. The author of the blog is totally anonymous, which I think is rather crazy! The blog is followed by hundreds of people who visit the site everyday. It seems like somebody somewhere would want to take credit for it. The blog is well kept, usually updated everyday. I promise you that something there will speak to you, as if the author wrote it just for you.

Somebody Tell Dem Hoes I'm Single For The Night!

So I was really excited to hear that the video for I'm Single off of the No Ceilings Mixtape would premiere on MTV stations today. Yet, I was disappointed when I saw the product. Then again, maybe my expectations were a little too high. I thought that Wayne would leave us fans with a bomb ass video while he was away. Well it's still Wayne, so deep down you gotta love it!

Mmkay, so am I late or what? Apparently almost a month ago, Madonna and her 13 year old daughter Lourdes announced that they would be teaming up to launch a line called Material Girl. Material Girl was thought up by Lola, which is what Madonna's daughter goes by. Inspiration for the line comes from her life of hip-hop and ballet classes, rock bands, and everyday streetwear. Material Girl will consist of shoes, clothing, accessories, and handbags with all items coming in under $50. The line is set to debut in July at 200 Macy's stores and online, of course. Seeing how her mother was the ish in the fashion industry back in her day, I can't wait to see what this little fashionista has in store for the world.

Q: When did you become interested in fashion?

A: I became interested in fashion at an early age. I wasn't as interested as I am now, but everyone could tell I loved it. It all started when my mom would let me put my outfits together for school. I would always put a jacket over a dress or wear her necklace to school, which she hated by the way. As I got older, my passion gradually started to grow. One thing that really made me fall in love with fashion were socialites. Yeah, surprise surprise! I was always intrigued by these young girls who put together their outfits with their own style and partied with their friends taking pictures. I just fell in love with their lifestyle and their individualism.

Q: What inspires your daily wear?

A: I strive to express myself and my personality through the way that I dress. So if I'm happy at the time I'll wear bright colors. If I'm feeling the need to stunt or be fly, I'll wear all black and some shades. If I feel like being glamorous I'll wear a lot of sparkly stuff.

Q: If I'm not mistaken, you have your own clothing line in the works. Tell the me and the readers about that ..

A: Well actually I have been working on my actual clothing line for quite some time now, but I'll get to that in a minute! The clothing line that I'm coming out with in the very near future is a street wear collection much like BBC, Hellz Bellz, Crooks and Castles, etc. The name of that is Space Cadet. Space Cadet really relates to me, and I think a lot of individualist, because the definition of a Space Cadet is one who has difficulty grasping reality or in modern terms "head in the clouds lost in space". That really captivated me because I live life where I'm not really concerned about the things that are surrounding me or my present situation. So be looking out for that sometime before my birthday in July. Now my actual clothing line is something like my baby. I don;t want to release anything if it's not to my standards. I came up with this whole concept surrounding love. Love is such a complex gift and curse. The color schemes are a lot of reds, blacks, whites, and different shades of gray. To sum it all up, the clothing line surrounds the quote "Love Is Temporary Insanity". I'm still in the process of of getting everything straightened out, but I know when it's all finished everyone will love and appreciate it.

Q: What do you think about the fashion in Saint Louis right now?

A: Does it even exist?! I feel like it is most definitely growing, but the city is very stagnant. It's a shame when you can actually name people who truly have a sense of fashion instead of it being a group as a whole. Saint Louis is a city that's all about appearance, but the unfortunate irony of it all is that whenever there is a trend everyone else seems to have to follow. Polo, then the whole jerk movement with skinny jeans and plaid, after that it was the Barbie movement with pink weaves, blunt bangs, and leggings. Lately I've been seeing a lot of girls shaving the sides of their hair because of the whole Cassie situation. I feel like Saint Louis would be a more respected city if everyone just stayed in their own lane and just wore what they wanted to wear. We should really start taking inspiration from places that have individuals with their own style like Toronto, Los Angeles, Orange County, and New York City. It's bad enough that this is a small city, but everyone is walking around look like one another. I have hope in Saint Louis!

Q: Who are some of the people that you feel have made a name for themselves, as far as fashion in concerned, within Saint Louis?

A: Off the top of my head: Jasmine Galvin who works in the Loop. Everyone who lives in Saint Louis should agree. Travis Mayes, Chris Ellington and his brother Nick Solanke. The Dreamteam which consists of Keith Fells, Brock Seals, and Michael Austin. Breanna Morre. Tia and Tierra. I've seen a couple of others through association with people I know like Kasey Harvey and Stevin Armstrong. Anyone who asks me this question know that I have never been more inspired by anyone than the one and only Sierra Mink, who recently moved to New York City. Yoshi a.k.a Yoshi Matsumato Fly, Ronald Cannon and his friend Fresh, Barbie Bueller, Blake a.k.a Slim Lyric, and Jon Alexander even though he lives in Florida now. There's more, but that pretty much sums it up!

Q: What is the one piece in your closet that you can't live without?

A: Jackets! I buy a different one any and every time I go shopping. It has become much of an addiction really.

A: Never second guess your outfit if you liked it the first time.

Q: Anything you want to tell the readers before you go?

A: Remember to never pre-judge someone no matter how much you feel that you are right about them without getting to know them first. Also, fashion is something that you don't have to be born with or have loved for a long time in order to obtain. There's much more to it than clothes.
